Velocity benefits (fka empowhr) is a cloud-based employee benefits enrollment platform.

The company provides HR outsourcing, including benefits administration, risk management, payroll, and HR consulting. Velocity Benefits has served employers since the early 2000s with technology enabling the administration of employee benefit programs. Employees have access to a secure, personalized online portal allowing 24/7 access to the menu of benefit programs offered by their employer. They can enroll, make plan adjustments during the year and participate in yearly "open enrollment" from their Velocity account. Employers can track enrollment activity, generate employee updates and reminders, and update insurance company systems automatically with enrollment data.


