As a Senior Product Owner at BIP Ventures, Kat Martinez interacts with all aspects of the business. She supports the engineering team and product management teams and works closely with UI/UX leaders to create, review, and iterate designs to capture all functionality and flow details.
Before joining BIP Ventures in 2022, Kat spent five years providing Customer Support, Logistics Operations, and Product Management at Brightstar. She has significant experience working B2B SaaS companies in Product Management, including CINC Systems, a cloud-based software for Property Management companies. She also is skilled with Agility Recovery, Emergency Notification and Incident Management software, and NetDocuments, a cloud storage document management software tailored to the Law Industry.
Kat is bilingual in English and Spanish, having immigrated to the U.S. from El Salvador at a young age. Outside the office, Kat enjoys weightlifting, traveling and spending time at the beach with her husband, and learning tennis.
