Rachelle Kuramoto
Rachelle Kuramoto is the Vice President of Content at BIP Capital and BIP Ventures. She oversees the health and growth of the BIP brand family, leads multi-channel content, hosts the Extraordinary Pursuits podcast, and helps to advise portfolio companies with content and brand challenges.
Before joining BIP Ventures in 2023, Rachelle formed a content-led branding agency called Watchword Brand, which she successfully sold. During her 20+ years as a brand and content strategist, she has advised some of the most respected and innovative companies in the world, including Magic Leap, The Coca-Cola Company, and The Carter Center. Rachelle's entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding a sustainable footwear company, launching a MOPS chapter, creating a 501c3 to provide training and mentorship for nonprofit founders, and co-establishing an independent publishing house for executive thought leaders.
Rachelle earned an M.A. and a B.A. in Literature from Wake Forest University. She was a Presidential Scholar for music and published her Master's dissertation under the watchful eye of Dr. Maya Angelou.
Outside work, Rachelle is an active mentor and serves on the Executive Board for the Grove Park Foundation, the Alliance Theatre advisory board, and is active within the International Women's Foundation.
