Todd Knudsen
As the Chief Financial Officer of BIP Ventures, Todd Knudsen oversees all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, the financial operations of portfolio companies, due diligence, and stakeholder performance reporting.
Todd joined the firm in 2013 as a member of the BIP Capital team. Before joining the firm, Todd was the CFO of Chatham Capital, a $425 million mezzanine private debt fund. He also served as the CFO at fintech startup Ftrans, where he helped the company to improve from $250k monthly loss to breakeven in two years. Todd began his career in the public audit practice of Arthur Anderson, focusing on manufacturing and healthcare clients. His experience also includes working as a portfolio manager in the commercial real estate division at Wachovia Bank.
Todd earned an MBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He enjoys all things outdoors, including hiking and biking.
